had new yokohama a048 245/40-17 tire mounted and balanced to replace the punctured rear driver's side tire.
performed oil and filter change with mobil 1 0w-40 and oem toyota filter. i noticed a screw in the drivers side rear tire which i'll have to get plugged/patched.
installed larini flame shooter (saving 4 lbs)
participated in the 2007 chicago volkswagen organization track day at gingerman raceway in south haven, michigan.
performed oil and filter change with 4.75 quarts of mobil 1 0w-40 and an oem toyota filter (90915-YZZF1).
participated in the 2007 audi badger chapter track event at road america.
replaced front oem drilled 1-piece rotors with sector111 2-piece slotted rotors.
on the 3rd day at blackhawk, i was not able to shift into gears from a stop at idle rpm. if the revs were up to 3k it would slide into gear and shift fine once the car was moving. i brought it to fox valley motorcars and they diagnosed it to be a broken pressure plate. after 11 days, a new clutch and pressure plate were installed under warranty.
replaced tires with new a048s but with a wider tread; 225/45-16 in the front and 245/40-17 in the rear. the driver's side rear tire had gotten demolished at blackhawk and was worn down to the metal cords, though the other 3 were fine.

participated in the advanced driver track day at the north track of the autobahn country club in joliet, illinois with the audi car club chicagoland chapter.
installed carbotech ax6 pads on the front and rear. the stock pads had plenty of pad material left, but they have no bite when cold or at temperature.
the ax6 pads feel sufficiently powered when cold on the street, and can overpower the tires when at temperature. hopefully they will not fade on the track or become too noisy on the street.

some flying debris on the track took a chunk out of the front passenger side corner of the front spoiler.
removed rear view mirror, sun visors, and visor posts since they are all useless and just reduce visibility (and add precious ounces to the car's weight!)
removed camber shims from front steering arms (1 from each side) to increase negative camber. i wanted to lower the ride height as per the factory recommendations for track usage but i don't have the spanner wrenches for the bilstein coilovers.
replaced side view mirror glass with multivex blind spot mirrors.
had follow-up inspection done at fox valley motorcars.
driver's side door was sagging a bit when open and was adjusted back to spec, as well as "addition of drain holes to hvac chamber floor" and "2007/07 revised engine program ecu update".

installed my sparco harnesses from the r32 after picking up some brackets from northstar motorsports that allow the belts to be bolted in with the stock belts using the harness mounting kit from sector111.
installed a camera mount on the harness bar and installed a hard-wire kit for my v1 which sits on the camera mount. i installed a remote display for it that mounts up on the windshield near the roof.
installed arqray single-tip exhaust (saving 10.4 lbs) and sector 111 front and rear towhooks.
purchased from fox valley motorcars. car is equipped with factory track and touring packs.
